The "Hot Box" is a specially designed unit to provide a high temperature controlled environment using wall mounted electric fan heaters. These discharge heated air into the refrigeration unit.

The cooling cycle in the refrigerated unit is disabled but the air circulation fans continue to operate, creating even air distribution throughout the store.

Controlled by a digital thermostat, the heaters operate with a tolerance of +\- 1ºC. Should the temperature within the unit become too hot, the cooling cycle will start automatically and bring the temperature back within range.

The operating range for this unit is +5ºC to +40ºC.
